I was a big fan of Feenies when Rob was there. I loved the burger and the calamari sandwich, what I didn't love was how that burger kept going up in price everytime I went back there.

Took a trip out of convience to Cactus Club and had the Calamari sandwich which is an import to the Cactus Club menu by Rob Feenie. Not sure what happened but it just wasn't the same as Feenies. Not sure if it was the bread, or that extra curry/cumin taste to it but this sandwich didn't stack up to its predesessor. Also, the fries at Feenies were off the hook, he should bring those joints to the Cactus Club Menu.

Anyone try "the burger" at Cactus Club yet? Any good?

The one interesting thing about Cactus Club is that they are consistent with their hot girl line up. I know guys who ask for female servers when they go there and they get a male server. I can see where they are coming from but really?

Cactus Club
Location - follow the girls in the black dresses, and the cheesy guys in the Ed Hardy gear. Its not a Hooters, but it serves the same purpose, I guess the food
is better and it feels more acceptable to go with a girl or tell a girl thats where you ate.

I had the mini burgers and they were actually quite good. I've never eaten at Cactus Club before, so it's hard for me to compare them before and after the arrival of Feenie.

Ahw, Matt I love you blog! I never knew Cactus Club was referred to as "Cock Tease Club", I'll have to tell the girls as I do work there. LOL.

If you ever roll in around surrey, we still have a few of the old menu items including The Hawaiian Tuna Poke. It's my favourite dish! Sashimi grade tuna in a fruit salsa served with wonton chips. It's amazing. Running in close second is, The Terryaki Chicken Rice Bowl. I was a little hesitant about every trying it since it is a chain restaurant serving asian dishes, but I can't seem to get enough of it. (I think it's something about our famous Spicy Yogourt) Anyways, let's go for eats sometimes! I love eating out.

We were at the Broadway/Granville location last week to watch the world Junior hockey game and have told so many people about our experience...this fabulous gal answered my phone call and, as a result, we arrived there to have 2 Caronas keeping our place for us...how neat it THAT!
Thank you Cactus Club....that's what this fine city is all about at its finest!
