In September 2008, I tried to find the best burger in Vancouver. I was not able to go to all the spots but I think I covered some of the major players. I left out the fancy places like Diva at the Met because I am not dropping 50 dollars on a burger.

Check it out. Click on the link below.

VancouverSlop's Best Burger in Vancouver

Let me know which spots I missed.

Although I haven't been there, you should probably try Tomahawk. The Globe & Mail prefers it to Moderne: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/LAC.20080910.LDISH10/TPStory/TPEntertainment/BritishColumbia/

And yes, the regular Vera's is better than the organic. White spot, really? Maybe it's different in Vancouver but on the island they've gone to crap. Usually overcooked, but OK with condiments.

I had Tomahawk a long time ago, I dont remember it being that good at all. It was more novelty cause you can add an egg and hot dogs to it.

After that review on Globe and Mail I will have to try it again. Nice find.

White Spot - I love that triple OOO and yes sometimes they are over done. Then they do suck.

try out the cottage burger at cedar cottage, kingsway and knight.
its sports bar filled with fat canucks fans and vancouver suburbish white trash...but the burger's awesome and the fries kick it too.

FatBurger on Denman -- ate there last night -- not the top place, but worth stopping by.

Cedar Cottage is my hood and it's squarely in East Vancouver, so I think Anonymous needs to check their definition of the suburbs.

Burger Heaven! I went there a couple of weeks ago and the burger was incredible. Also, aside for the regular beef burgers, they also have other type of meats, like elk, buffalo and, in my case, I had kangaroo. Hmmmm.... Burger!

That was great - I think your list is pretty bang-on!! I moved to California 3 years ago, and every time I am home, i MUST to go to white spot and cactus club for a burger. All time faves!

you all know nothing, save on food Dt for 5$ . necessary. splitz grill, burger heave,n tomohawk are all amazing. veras is pretty bad compared to them but still tastes delicious for a little less modern burger is good like veras little better litte more expensive. Romeros burger bar is quite good as well . red onion can be alright although i had a bad time there recently and whitespot is crap compared to all. I used to like feenies burger but he doesn't work in his own restaurant anymore. and last but not least fat burger is good but some people find their buns too sweat, good onion rings though :) these are the burger joins of van never whitespot
