Topanga's cafe is my favorite spot for when I want TexMex. I love the crispy things like hard shelled tacos, and chimichangas. I ordered a chimichange dinner ($13.88) and substituted my beans for more rice. Also ordered a pitcher of sangria for 12 bucks.

The meal was great but it seemed smaller than before but still filling. The food was hot, rice was really tasty but the chimichanga was not crispy enough. I have been here a few times before and I remember that chimichanga being a lot more crispy. Either way this is one of the better Mexican restaurants that is close to downtown, it is actually my favorite. Las Margaritas is good and Pepitas is horrible.
