O-toro and I had the pleasure of attending Taste BC 2009 - A Celebration of Local Food and Drink. We had a super fun time and I walked out pretty drunk.

I enjoyed this review very much and will definitely check out this event next year!
thanks!
Matt, thanks for the review. I originally planned to go but work schedule prevented me from doing so. However, even if I could, I would have slightly hesitant as my alcohol tolerance is really low. I do have one question: were Dirty Laundry and Thornhaven there? Had they been, then I can kick myself. I love their wines, specially Thornhaven's.
Dirty Laundry was there, and I did enjoy a couple of their wines that they offered.
Thornhaven Estate was also there, but I just check my book and I did not make any notes on it. I will give it a try based on you recomendation.
Matt
I totally wish I had been able to go. Next year!
Dirty Laundry was one of my top picks there.
im a sucker for packaging and their's caught my eye.
their wine was great!
been hounding my local liquor store to restock Dirty Laundry since.
this event was really fun.
O-toro, you won't find it in the BC Liquor Stores (I tried). However, if you don't mind driving to North Van, you can find them in a liquor store called Everything Wine - http://www.everythingwine.ca
Re: packaging, well, when you have a wine call "Hush" or "Woo woo", you can't help to smirk!
Caveat Emptor, I prefer "fruity" white wines, which basically means Riesling and Gewurztraminer. These two wineries make more of these than the rest so I have a small bias here!
