About the ghetto cheap food, definitely, that's what I miss the most. Especially the sandwiches at that place near the corner of hastings and main in the back of the grocery store. Also there is a great wor-tip (aka gyoza) place in chinatown not far.

The asian food in London is atrocious. Considering the size of the chinese and korean communities here, the poor quality of food (this goes for all food in the UK) is incomprehensible.

We got our ghetto cheap spots, and we got our high end spots. Eating in Vancouver is still quite affordable for asian cuisine.

It s about 15 per dish. I try to remember to note the price or take the bill but sometimes i forget.

Thanks for the posts. I think your entries would be even better if you could post more detailed costs for the meal though.
